Admission Requirements for the Engineering Program

To qualify for admission to the program, applicants are required to have:

–        Completedprimary school, in addition to grades 9. or 10. of lower secondary school, and passed the following subjects: English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

–        Certification as an electrician or metalworker

–        An SIT degree

Although applicants are expected to fulfill the admission requirements, exceptions can be made if:

–        An applicant has already acquired a profession with on-job training and supplementary education comparable to the department’s admission requirements

–        The director considers the applicant qualified to finish the education on schedule
